This is a list of companies, including this one, that appeared on the Nevada State Contractors Board register with an active licence when we searched it, together with the service area each company publishes on its own website. Every company here is a real alternative to calling us, which is the point of publishing it.
It is not a ranking, a recommendation or a rating. Nobody paid to be on it and nobody was left off for being inconvenient. We have no way to tell you which of these companies will do the best job on your door, and a page that pretended otherwise would be worth less than nothing to you.
Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page. All company names, trademarks and logos are the property of their owners.
The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee that it is complete or current, so every licence line here is what the register showed on September 19, 2026 rather than a statement about the business behind it.
Where each line came from:
Alphabetical, because any other order would be an opinion. The trading name is the one each company uses on its own website, and the licence is the one the register returned for it.
There is no licence classification column here, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight. The classifications in this list are not all the same, and a class code printed next to a company name invites a conclusion that the code on its own does not support. The register shows every classification in full, the licence numbers below are what you need to look any of them up, and that is the right place to read it.
| Company, as it publishes its name | Nevada licence | Status on the register | Where its own site says it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| A Plus Garage Doors | 0092240 | Active | Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Boulder City, Centennial Hills, Enterprise, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Whitney, Mesquite, Reno and Sparks, plus three communities in Arizona. |
| A1 Garage Door Service | 0093350 | Active | Las Vegas, Blue Diamond, Boulder City, Henderson, North Las Vegas and The Lakes, plus further Nevada communities including Summerlin, Centennial Hills, Enterprise, Reno and Sparks. |
| Accurate Garage Door Services | 0064067 | Active | Las Vegas, Boulder City, Enterprise, Green Valley, Henderson, Mountain's Edge, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Spring Valley, Summerlin and Sunrise Manor. |
| Apple Garage Door Repair | 0087430 | Active | Described on its site as 15 cities served, including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Sunrise Manor, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Summerlin, Winchester, Whitney, Boulder City, Mesquite and Pahrump. |
| Good Golly Garage Doors | 0092719 | Active | Anthem, Green Valley, Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and Sun City. |
| JB Garage Door Repair Las Vegas | 0090811 | Active | Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Clark County, Boulder City, Green Valley, Anthem, Sunrise Manor, Sun City, Enterprise, Paradise, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills and Aliante. |
| Martin Garage Doors of Nevada | 0077056 and 0077057 | Both Active | Nevada and Arizona, with Las Vegas named on its site. |
| Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas | 0052604 | Active | Las Vegas, Enterprise, Boulder City, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Henderson, Paradise, Whitney, Summerlin, Green Valley, Anthem, Sun City and Winchester. |
| Prestige Garage Door Services | 0091256 | Active | Las Vegas and the wider valley, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Enterprise, Spring Valley, Paradise and Boulder City. |
Every line above and below was read on September 19, 2026, from the register or from the company's own site. Where a company publishes a statement about who it is, here it is in its own words, quoted rather than summarised, because a summary of somebody else's claim is our sentence and not theirs.
Accurate Garage Door Services states on accurategarage.com that it "is a family owned and operated business" and that it "has been servicing the Las Vegas area for over 15 years".
Apple Garage Door Repair states on applegaragedoorrepair.com that it is "Veteran-owned" and has been "Serving Las Vegas since 2019".
A Plus Garage Doors states on aplusgaragedoor.com that it is a "family-owned and operated business".
Good Golly Garage Doors describes itself on its Las Vegas page as a "Family owned and operated network of really good people providing really good service".
JB Garage Door Repair states on jbgaragedoorrepair.com that it "is a completely insured and family owned business".
Martin Garage Doors of Nevada states on martindoorlv.com that it has been "Providing exceptional garage door services to Nevada & Arizona Since 1936".
Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas publishes two things that belong together: the national site states that "Each Precision Garage Door Service franchise is an independently owned and operated small business", and its own Las Vegas site states "Locally Owned Since 2000. Nationally Backed."
None of those statements is something a customer can verify from outside, and none of them is repeated here as our finding. They are quoted because what a company chooses to say about itself is worth reading, not because it is proof.
A list of nine is not progress on its own. Four questions turn it into two phone calls.
First, does the company work on your kind of door. An RV door, a rolling steel curtain and a commercial operator are different machines from a house door, and a residential price list does not cover a fourteen foot opening. Ask directly and ask what they last fitted like it.
Second, what does the visit cost if you say no. That single answer decides whether you can afford a second opinion, which is the thing that protects you most.
Third, will you get a written, itemised price before anything is touched, showing which parts, how many, one spring or two, what cycle rating, and labour stated separately from parts.
Fourth, what are the warranty terms for your job, in writing. Not the headline on the website, the terms on your paperwork.
Ask any two companies on this list those four questions and the answers will do the sorting for you. Ask us the same four.
We are one row of nine, which is roughly how much weight one row deserves.
What we publish: Nevada contractor licence 0091256, classification C-3D Overhead Doors, bonded and insured. Family owned and family run from one location, 35 years of experience in the trade. A $0 trip fee at any hour and a free inspection of the whole door. Two prices with their conditions attached, $499 for a qualifying same-day spring replacement and new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, both confirmed after the inspection and before any work begins. Warranties on the work, with terms written down for your job. Residential, commercial and RV doors across the Las Vegas Valley, all makes and models, around the clock.
What we do not have: the review volume some companies on this list publish, the several markets and the parts depots that come with operating in more than one state, or a national programme administering the warranty. Our Google profile showed 5.0 from 4 reviews when we checked it on September 19, 2026. Four is a small number and it is the number.
If any of that makes another company on this list the better call for your job, make it. The list is above and every licence number on it is real.
Homes, businesses and RV garages
For homes
For an ordinary Las Vegas house door, a sectional steel door on torsion springs, almost every company on this list publishes the same core work: springs, cables, rollers, openers and off track doors. That means the choice is rarely about capability and almost always about the parts line on the quote.
Get two written quotes on the same door and compare them part by part rather than total by total. A qualifying same-day spring replacement with us is $499, confirmed after a free inspection of the whole door, and if another company on this list gives you a better written answer for your job, take it.
For businesses
Commercial work narrows a list like this one quickly, because a rolling steel curtain, a dock door and a high cycle operator are not what every garage door company handles day to day in Las Vegas.
So ask the direct question before anything else: is commercial work routine for you, what cycle rating are you quoting, and what does after hours mean on my account. Prestige holds Nevada contractor licence 0091256, works around the clock across the Las Vegas Valley, and quotes commercial doors per door after an inspection rather than off a residential figure.
For RV garages
An RV door narrows a Las Vegas shortlist faster than anything else on this page. It is taller panels, heavier springs, higher tracks and an opener a household trolley unit cannot lift, and not every company fits them.
Ask whoever you call whether they have fitted a door that size before and whether the springs will be specified to your door's real weight rather than to what is on the truck. We measure first and quote after, with a $0 trip fee and a free inspection while we do it.
The table on this page lists the companies in our research set that held an active Nevada contractor licence when we searched the register on September 19, 2026, with the licence number and the service area each one publishes. It is alphabetical and it is not a ranking. The register itself will return more than nine, and app.nvcontractorsboard.com is where to search it.
No. It is a record of what the public register showed and what each company publishes about where it works, on one date. Nobody paid to be listed, nobody was left off for being inconvenient, and we have no way to know which company will do the best job on your particular door. What we can give you is the licence numbers, so you can check any of them yourself in about a minute.
Because we could not verify one from a primary source for any company on it, and a rating printed on our page ages into a statement about somebody else's business that they never made. Some of these companies publish their own review claims on their own sites, and those are theirs to publish. Our own Google profile showed 5.0 from 4 reviews when we checked it on September 19, 2026, which is a small number and we are not going to dress it up.
The classifications in this list are not all the same, and a class code printed beside a company name invites a conclusion the code on its own does not support. The register shows every classification in full for anyone who wants it, and the licence numbers in the table are exactly what you need to look one up. Ours is classification C-3D Overhead Doors on licence 0091256.
No. This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page. All company names, trademarks and logos are the property of their owners.
Every 90 days, and immediately out of cycle if anyone reports a discrepancy or a source page stops loading. Licence statuses change, sites get rewritten, and the date on this page is the date every line was last read from its source. If a company's licence stops being active it comes off this page rather than staying on it with a note.
More than are listed here. The table on this page covers the companies in our research set, not the whole register. The Nevada State Contractors Board public search at app.nvcontractorsboard.com lets you search by classification and by city, which will return the full field of licensed contractors for this work far better than any list on a company website.
That the licence is active on the state register and covers the work, what the visit costs if you say no, whether you get a written itemised price before anything is touched, who will actually arrive, and what the warranty terms are in writing for your job. Five checks, and none of them depend on the size of the company.
Garage door work in Nevada falls under the state contractor licensing system, and the register exists so that anybody can check a licence before letting a stranger work on their property. The practical reason matters more than the legal one: a licensed contractor carries a bond and insurance, and the register will tell you in a minute whether both are current.
Yes, and with us it costs nothing: the trip fee is $0 and the inspection is free whether or not you go ahead. If you hold a written quote from any company on this list, a technician can look at the same door and give you our written price before anything is touched. What we will not do is promise to beat a number we have not seen.
A repair company fixes what is on your opening: springs, cables, rollers, openers, panels and tracks. A dealer sells and installs doors from particular manufacturers, and many companies do both. It matters when you are replacing rather than repairing, because a dealer will have a narrower range of brands and a deeper knowledge of them.
