This is the closest comparison in this set, and it is worth saying so at the top. Both companies describe themselves as family owned, both hold an active Nevada licence in the same classification, both publish that licence number on their own site, and neither publishes a warranty length. A page that manufactured a gap out of that would be lying to you.
Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page. All company names, trademarks and logos are the property of their owners.
The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee that it is complete or current, so every licence line here is what the register showed on September 19, 2026 rather than a statement about the business behind it.
We do not reprint another company's offer figures. An offer is theirs to change whenever they like, and a figure copied onto our page ages into a claim about their business that they never made. Where a company publishes an offer, this page says what the offer is for and names the site it is published on, so you can read the current figure and the current terms from them.
What you will not find on this page:
The table reads across. The left column is what this company publishes and stands behind. The right column is what Good Golly Garage Doors states on its Las Vegas pages, or what the state register showed when we looked.
Rows that would need us to guess are not in the table. An empty cell in a comparison reads as an absence of the thing rather than an absence of a published statement, and that is not a difference anybody can evidence.

No codes and no deadlines on any of it. | Its Las Vegas offers page publishes four: money off a repair above a threshold, "No Service Fee for Residential Customers", money off a new custom door installation, and a fixed price maintenance visit. Each carries conditions, including that the coupon has to be presented at the time of service. |
| Warranty, in each company's own words | Warranties on the work, with the terms for your job written down and confirmed with you before it starts. We publish no single warranty length. | Its Las Vegas page publishes a "TOTAL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" and, under a heading reading "PERFORMANCE PROMISE", the line "We stand behind the quality of our expert work. When you maintain and operate your garage door as recommended, we guarantee it will perform just as we promised-reliably and efficiently". No length is published with it. |
| Financing, in each company's own words | Financing available, applied for at the time of the quote, with the decision coming from the finance provider rather than from us. We publish no rate and no term. | Its Las Vegas financing page names Synchrony as the lender and publishes two plans, one described as "No interest if Paid in Full in 6 Months" and one as "Reduced Rate 11.99% for 180 Months", both subject to credit approval. |
| Nevada contractor licence, as the register showed it | Licence 0091256, classification C-3D Overhead Doors, status Active, held by MK-MAD Professional Group LLC doing business as Prestige Garage Door Services. | Licence 0092719, classification C-3D Overhead Doors, status Active, held by West Coast Garage & Gate LLC doing business as Good Golly Garage Doors. Their own pages publish the same number as "NVCB License: 0092719". |
Every line in the table above was read on September 19, 2026 from the source named in the cell. Here is where they are ahead of us on paper, stated plainly.
On financing, they publish far more than we do. Their Las Vegas financing page names the lender, publishes two plans, and prints a rate and a term for one of them. We publish that financing is available and stop there, because the rate, the term and the decision belong to the finance provider rather than to us. If you want to know what the monthly cost of a new door would look like before anybody visits, their page will get you closer than ours will.
On offers, they publish four to our two, including a no service fee offer for residential customers and a fixed price maintenance visit. Ours is not a coupon list, it is two prices, and we will not pretend that is the same thing.
On warranty wording, neither company publishes a length, which is level, and their published promise is written out in full on their site where ours is described rather than quoted. A promise you can read before you call is worth more than one you are told about.
Where we are more specific is narrower and worth stating too. Our trip fee is $0 on every visit at any hour rather than a coupon to be presented, our inspection covers the whole door before any price is given, and we publish a same-day figure for a qualifying spring replacement, which is the repair most people call about at the worst possible moment.
Our side of the table with its conditions attached, because a list of claims with the conditions removed is an advertisement rather than a comparison.
Checkable, and worth verifying rather than believing:
On the checkable basics these two companies are close enough that the honest answer is to call both. Both are family owned by their own account, both hold an active C-3D licence, both publish the number, and both publish offers without a deadline attached.
The differences that are real: if you are financing a new door and want to see a rate and a term before anybody visits, theirs is the page with those on it. If you want a published same-day figure for a spring, ours is the page with that on it. If a coupon to present at the time of service suits you, they publish four. If you would rather the visit simply cost nothing whether or not you go ahead, that is how ours works.
And if the door is a commercial roll up, a rolling steel curtain or an RV door, that work is on our service list with a page each. Ask any company you call whether they cover it, because those are different machines from a house door.
The licence half takes a minute at app.nvcontractorsboard.com, the Nevada State Contractors Board public search. Both numbers are in the table above, and the register shows the classification, the status, the bond and the insurance without anybody interpreting them for you.
The published half takes five. Open the Las Vegas pages on goodgollygarage.com, then read this site, and hold both against the job you actually need doing. If a line here no longer matches their site, tell us: these pages are re-checked every 90 days, and immediately out of cycle if something looks wrong or a source page stops loading.
Homes, businesses and RV garages
For homes
Both companies publish most heavily about the ordinary Las Vegas house door, and for good reason: a sectional steel door on torsion springs is what most of this valley has behind it.
The questions that separate two quotes on that door do not change with the company. One spring or two. What cycle rating. Are the cables being looked at. Is the door balanced afterwards. A qualifying same-day spring replacement with us is $499, confirmed after a free inspection that covers the whole door rather than the part that failed.
For businesses
A commercial door in Las Vegas is its own comparison. A rolling steel curtain, a dock door and a high cycle operator are three different machines from the one on a house, and a bay that will not open costs trade by the hour rather than causing an inconvenience.
Ask any company you are considering whether commercial work is routine for them, what after hours means on your account, and what cycle rating they are pricing. Prestige is a Nevada licensed contractor, 0091256, working around the clock across the Las Vegas Valley, and commercial doors are quoted per door after an inspection.
For RV garages
The newer south and west Las Vegas neighbourhoods are full of RV garages, and an RV door is a sectional door scaled up until nearly every part changes: taller panels, heavier springs, higher tracks and an opener a household trolley unit cannot lift.
The question worth asking any company is whether they have fitted one before and whether the springs will be specified to your door's real weight. We measure first and quote after, and the $0 trip fee and the free inspection apply while we do it.
No. This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page, and all company names and trademarks are the property of their owners. Everything here about the other company is quoted from its own website or taken from the Nevada State Contractors Board public register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
When we searched the Nevada State Contractors Board register on September 19, 2026, licence 0092719, classification C-3D Overhead Doors, was shown as Active, held by West Coast Garage & Gate LLC doing business as Good Golly Garage Doors. Their own Las Vegas pages publish the same number as "NVCB License: 0092719". The board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee it is complete or current, so that is what it showed on the day we checked. Ours is 0091256, same classification, Active on the same day.
Both publish that they are, and here are their own words for it. Their Las Vegas page describes the company as a "Family owned and operated network of really good people providing really good service", read on September 19, 2026. Prestige is family owned and family run from one location in Las Vegas, with 35 years in the trade. Neither statement is something a customer can verify from outside, which is why this page quotes each company rather than ruling on it.
They publish more about it than we do, and that is the honest answer. Their Las Vegas financing page names Synchrony as the lender and publishes two plans, one described as "No interest if Paid in Full in 6 Months" and one as "Reduced Rate 11.99% for 180 Months", both subject to credit approval. We publish that financing is available, applied for at the time of the quote, with the decision made by the finance provider rather than by us, and we publish no rate or term because those are not ours to publish. If comparing rates before anybody visits matters to you, read theirs.
No. The trip fee is $0 at any hour, there is no coupon to present, and the inspection is free whether or not you go ahead with the work. That is the whole policy. If you already hold a written quote from another company, the same applies to a second opinion on it.
Every 90 days, and immediately out of cycle if anyone reports a discrepancy or a source page stops loading. The date on the page is the date the claims were last read from the source. If a company withdraws a claim it comes off this page in the same edit rather than being kept with a historical note.
Two different things that often get merged: the manufacturer's warranty on the part, and the installer's warranty on the labour. They can have different lengths and different conditions, and either can be voided by work somebody else does later. The only version worth relying on is the one written on your paperwork for your job, which is why it is worth asking for it before the work rather than after.
It depends entirely on the terms, which is why the terms are the thing to compare rather than the word financing. Look at the rate, the length, what happens at the end of any promotional period, and whether the decision is made by a lender or by the contractor. Approval comes from the finance provider, not from the garage door company, and a company that promises approval is promising something that is not theirs to give.
Search the Nevada State Contractors Board public register at app.nvcontractorsboard.com by licence number or by business name. Check that the licence is Active, that the classification covers the work, and that the bond and insurance are current. Every licence number on this page is there for exactly that purpose.
No, and a coupon is not the same as a fair price. A reduction only means something against an honest starting number, which is why this site publishes the number instead: $499 for a qualifying same-day spring replacement, new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, a $0 trip fee and a free inspection. Other companies do publish coupons, and if one fits your job you should use it.
Usually the same day for a qualifying door, because a broken spring is the repair that strands a car in a garage and it is the one most companies here are set up to turn around fast. What nobody can honestly promise before they know where you are and what is on the truck is an arrival time in minutes.
