This page is built from two kinds of source and nothing else: what each company publishes on its own website, quoted as theirs, and what the Nevada State Contractors Board register shows about each licence. Where a subject is not published by one of the companies, this page says nothing about that subject for them rather than printing a gap.
Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page. All company names, trademarks and logos are the property of their owners.
The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee that it is complete or current, so every licence line here is what the register showed on September 19, 2026 rather than a statement about the business behind it.
We do not reprint another company's offer figures. An offer is theirs to change whenever they like, and a figure copied onto our page ages into a claim about their business that they never made. Where a company publishes an offer, this page says what the offer is for and names the site it is published on, so you can read the current figure and the current terms from them.
What you will not find on this page:
The table reads across. The left column is what this company publishes and stands behind. The right column is what Martin Garage Doors of Nevada states on martindoorlv.com or on its specials page, or what the state register showed when we looked.
Rows that would need us to guess are not in the table at all, and that is a deliberate rule rather than an oversight. An empty cell in a comparison reads as an absence of the thing rather than an absence of a published statement.
| What you are comparing | Prestige Garage Door Services | Martin Garage Doors of Nevada, as published |
|---|---|---|
| Where each says it works | Las Vegas and the wider valley, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Enterprise, Spring Valley, Paradise and Boulder City. | martindoorlv.com states that it provides garage door services to Nevada and Arizona, and names Las Vegas specifically. |
| Repair work each lists | Springs, cables, rollers, drums, tracks, panels, off track doors, openers and full tune ups. | martindoorlv.com lists garage door repair, spring repair, openers and remotes, installation and maintenance. |
| New garage door installation | Yes. New doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes and configurations, measured and quoted at your own door. | Yes. martindoorlv.com lists new residential garage doors, glass garage doors and garage door replacements. |
| Commercial work | Yes. Roll up, sectional and dock doors, rolling steel curtains and the operators that drive them, quoted per door after an inspection. | Yes. martindoorlv.com lists commercial garage door repair. |
| Emergency service | Around the clock, every day, with a $0 trip fee at any hour. | martindoorlv.com publishes "Emergency Repairs" as a service and states "Available 24 Hours A Day". |
| What each publishes as an offer | $499 same-day spring replacement on qualifying spring configurations, new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, a $0 trip fee and a free inspection. No codes and no deadlines on any of it. | Their specials page publishes seven: a free operator with the purchase of a new door, a rodent seal, a tune up for first responders on production of ID, garage door insulation, a torsion spring replacement that has to be scheduled on a Tuesday, roller replacement, and long range remotes. The figures and the conditions are on their page. |
| Financing, in each company's own words | Financing available, applied for at the time of the quote, with the decision coming from the finance provider rather than from us. | Their specials page publishes financing under the heading "Free Financing" and states there is no interest if the balance is paid in full in 6 months, on approved credit. |
| Nevada contractor licences, as the register showed them | Licence 0091256, status Active, held by MK-MAD Professional Group LLC doing business as Prestige Garage Door Services. | Licences 0077056 and 0077057, both status Active, held by Martin Garage Doors of Nevada LLC. Their own site publishes both numbers as "#77056 & #77057". |
Every line in the table above was read on September 19, 2026 from the source named in the cell. Here is the part that runs the other way, because a comparison in which one company wins every row is not a comparison.
On offers, they publish seven and we publish two. Theirs cover a free operator with a new door, a rodent seal, insulation, rollers, long range remotes, a spring replacement scheduled on a particular day of the week, and a tune up for first responders on production of ID. We publish no audience pricing of any kind and no free item with a purchase. If the list of ways to take money off a job is what you are comparing, theirs is longer than ours by five.
On financing, they publish a term and we do not. Their specials page publishes it under the heading "Free Financing" and states there is no interest if the balance is paid in full in 6 months, on approved credit. We publish that financing is available and nothing further, because the rate and the term come from the finance provider rather than from us.
On history, they publish more than we can. martindoorlv.com states that it has been "Providing exceptional garage door services to Nevada & Arizona Since 1936", and the same site displays a Best of Las Vegas badge marked 6 Years. The first is their claim, quoted as theirs and read on September 19, 2026. The second is a badge on their page rather than a sentence of theirs, so it is described here rather than quoted, and the award itself is not something we verified independently. This page does not set either against our own 35 years in the trade, because a founding year and years of experience in the work are different kinds of statement and lining them up would invent a comparison neither company made.
One more thing that is fair to say plainly: when we read their specials page on September 19, 2026 it carried no expiry date on any of those offers. Neither do ours. That is a point of agreement rather than a difference, and it is worth more to a customer than most of the differences on this page.
Our side of the table with its conditions attached, because a list of claims with the conditions stripped off is an advertisement rather than a comparison.
Checkable, and worth verifying rather than believing:
Both companies hold active Nevada contractor licences, both publish their licence numbers where a customer can see them, and both cover Las Vegas. That is the level ground, and it is worth saying first.
After that it depends on the job. If you want a published offer against a specific piece of work such as insulation, a rodent seal or long range remotes, that is on their specials page and there is nothing like it on ours. If you are a first responder, they publish pricing for you and we publish no audience pricing at all. If you need the spring done today rather than on a particular day of the week, ours is the page with a same-day figure on it, at $499 for a qualifying configuration.
If your door is an RV door, that is the one place this page can be direct: RV doors, RV openers and the tall door springs that go with them are on our service list and each has its own page here. Ask any company you call whether they fit them, because a fourteen foot opening is not a catalogue size.
And if you already hold a written quote from anybody, a second opinion here costs nothing, because the trip fee is $0 and the inspection is free whether you go ahead or not.
The licence half takes a minute. The Nevada State Contractors Board runs a public search at app.nvcontractorsboard.com where any of these numbers can be looked up by number or by company name, and the register will show you the classification, the status, the bond and the insurance without anybody interpreting it for you.
The published half takes five. Open martindoorlv.com and its specials page, then read this site, and hold both against the job you actually need doing. If a line here no longer matches what their site says, tell us: these pages are re-checked every 90 days, and immediately out of cycle if something looks wrong or a source page stops loading.
Homes, businesses and RV garages
For homes
The ordinary Las Vegas house door is a sectional steel door on torsion springs that has taken a decade or more of heat, and both companies publish work on exactly that door.
What separates two quotes on it is never the headline. It is whether the quote covers one spring or both, what cycle rating is being fitted, whether the cables that aged alongside the spring are being looked at, and whether the door is balanced afterwards. A qualifying same-day spring replacement with us is $499, confirmed after a free inspection of the whole door.
For businesses
Both companies publish commercial repair work, which makes the comparison for a Las Vegas business a question of specifics rather than of whether it is offered at all.
Ask whoever you call what they actually cover: a rolling steel curtain, a dock door and a high cycle operator are three different machines, and the cycle rating you are quoted decides how long the repair lasts on a bay that opens forty times a day. Prestige is a Nevada licensed contractor, 0091256, working around the clock across the Las Vegas Valley, and commercial doors are quoted per door after an inspection rather than off a residential figure.
For RV garages
RV garages sit on thousands of newer lots across the south and west of Las Vegas, and an RV door is a sectional door scaled up until nearly every component changes: taller panels, heavier springs, higher tracks and an opener a household trolley unit cannot lift.
The question worth asking is whether the company has fitted one before and whether the springs will be specified to your door's real weight rather than to what is on the truck. We measure first and quote after, and the $0 trip fee and the free inspection apply while we do it.
No. This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page, and all company names and trademarks are the property of their owners. Everything here about the other company is quoted from its own website or taken from the Nevada State Contractors Board public register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
When we searched the Nevada State Contractors Board register on September 19, 2026, licences 0077056 and 0077057, both held by Martin Garage Doors of Nevada LLC, were shown as Active. Their own site publishes both numbers as "#77056 & #77057". The board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee it is complete or current, so that is what it showed on the day we checked, and you can search either number yourself at app.nvcontractorsboard.com. Ours is 0091256 and it was Active on the same day.
On September 19, 2026 their specials page published seven: a free operator with the purchase of a new garage door, a rodent seal, a tune up for first responders on production of ID, garage door insulation, a torsion spring replacement that has to be scheduled on a Tuesday, roller replacement and long range remotes. Each carries its own figure and conditions, which are on their page rather than reprinted here, because their offers are theirs to change. Read them from the source.
No. This company publishes no audience pricing at all, and it is better to say that plainly than to imply otherwise. What there is instead is one price for everybody: $499 for a qualifying same-day spring replacement, new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, a $0 trip fee and a free inspection, all confirmed before any work begins. Other companies do publish first responder pricing, and if that is what you are looking for you should go and use it.
Usually, yes. Qualifying spring jobs are normally finished the same day and the price for a qualifying configuration is $499, confirmed after a free inspection and before any work starts. What we will not print is an arrival time in minutes, because nobody can know that before they know which part of the valley you are in and what is on the truck. A real window from a dispatcher once you have called is information; a number in an advertisement is a promise.
Every 90 days, and immediately out of cycle if anyone reports a discrepancy or a source page stops loading. The date on the page is the date the claims were last read from the source. If a company withdraws a claim it comes off this page in the same edit rather than being kept with a historical note.
Line them up part by part rather than total by total. Which parts is each company replacing and how many of each. One spring or two on a two spring door. What cycle rating. Is labour stated separately. What warranty terms apply to that job in writing. What happens if something else is found once the door is open. Two quotes that differ by a lot usually differ in the work, not in the greed.
Some publish it and some do not, so the only reliable answer is to read each company's own offers page and to ask when you book. Where a company publishes it there are usually conditions attached, such as showing ID at the time of service. This company publishes no audience pricing and says so rather than leaving the question open.
Search the Nevada State Contractors Board public register at app.nvcontractorsboard.com by licence number or by business name. Check that the licence is Active, that the classification covers the work you are having done, and that the bond and insurance are current. It takes about a minute, and every licence number on this page is there to be looked up.
A long history tells you a business has survived, which is worth something and is not the same as knowing what your repair will cost or who will be standing in your driveway. The checkable things are still the checkable things: an active licence in the right classification, a written itemised price before the work, a known trip fee, and warranty terms you are given in writing.
Five questions. What is your Nevada licence number. Is there a trip fee. Will I get a written itemised price before any work starts. Who answers this phone and who will arrive. What happens if you find something else once the door is open. Any company doing this properly answers all five without pausing.
