How this comparison was put together

This page is built from two kinds of source and nothing else: what each company publishes on its own website, quoted as theirs, and what the Nevada State Contractors Board register shows about each licence. Where a subject is not published by one of the companies, this page says nothing about that subject for them rather than printing a gap.

Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.

The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee that it is complete or current, so every licence line here is what the register showed on September 19, 2026 rather than a statement about the business behind it.

We do not reprint another company's offer figures. An offer is theirs to change whenever they like, and a figure copied onto our page ages into a claim about their business that they never made. Where a company publishes an offer, this page says what the offer is for and names the site it is published on, so you can read the current figure and the current terms from them.

Theirs cover a free operator with a new door, a rodent seal, insulation, rollers, long range remotes, a spring replacement scheduled on a particular day of the week, and a tune up for first responders on production of ID. We publish no audience pricing of any kind and no free item with a purchase. If the list of ways to take money off a job is what you are comparing, theirs is longer than ours by five.

On financing, they publish a term and we do not. Their specials page publishes it under the heading "Free Financing" and states there is no interest if the balance is paid in full in 6 months, on approved credit. We publish that financing is available and nothing further, because the rate and the term come from the finance provider rather than from us.

On history, they publish more than we can. martindoorlv.com states that it has been "Providing exceptional garage door services to Nevada & Arizona Since 1936", and the same site displays a Best of Las Vegas badge marked 6 Years. The first is their claim, quoted as theirs and read on September 19, 2026. The second is a badge on their page rather than a sentence of theirs, so it is described here rather than quoted, and the award itself is not something we verified independently. This page does not set either against our own 35 years in the trade, because a founding year and years of experience in the work are different kinds of statement and lining them up would invent a comparison neither company made.

One more thing that is fair to say plainly: when we read their specials page on September 19, 2026 it carried no expiry date on any of those offers. Neither do ours. That is a point of agreement rather than a difference, and it is worth more to a customer than most of the differences on this page.

Which of the two fits what you are comparing on

Both companies hold active Nevada contractor licences, both publish their licence numbers where a customer can see them, and both cover Las Vegas. That is the level ground, and it is worth saying first.

After that it depends on the job. If you want a published offer against a specific piece of work such as insulation, a rodent seal or long range remotes, that is on their specials page and there is nothing like it on ours. If you are a first responder, they publish pricing for you and we publish no audience pricing at all. If you need the spring done today rather than on a particular day of the week, ours is the page with a same-day figure on it, at $499 for a qualifying configuration.

Ask any company you call whether they fit them, because a fourteen foot opening is not a catalogue size.

The licence half takes a minute. The Nevada State Contractors Board runs a public search at app.nvcontractorsboard.com where any of these numbers can be looked up by number or by company name, and the register will show you the classification, the status, the bond and the insurance without anybody interpreting it for you.

The published half takes five. Open martindoorlv.com and its specials page, then read this site, and hold both against the job you actually need doing.
