One thing first, because it is easy to get tangled. The same Las Vegas business appears under two names: it trades as Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas on its own site at garagedoor-lv.com, and as Precision Garage Door Service of Las Vegas on the national site at precisiondoor.net. This page names the site every quote came from, because the two are not interchangeable and a quote from one is not a statement by the other.

The register entry behind both is a single row: licence 0052604, held by T C W A Incorporated doing business as Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas.

Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.

What Precision Overhead Door publishes that we do not

Every line in the table above was read on September 19, 2026 from the site named in the cell. Here is the side of it that runs against us, because a comparison without one is an advertisement.

On offers, they publish four and we publish two. Theirs cover a tune up, an opener brand, spring sets and a new door, each with conditions printed beside it. Ours are two prices rather than reductions, so if what you are comparing is the number of ways to take money off a job, theirs is the longer list.

On warranty, their pages are more specific than ours in two directions at once: a full manufacturer warranty on every installation on their own site, and a 90 day workmanship promise on the national site for this location. We publish no length at all, because ours is set per job and written down before work starts. If a published warranty length is what you want to compare, theirs is written down and ours is not.

On financing, the same. They publish a rate and a monthly payment example on their site. We publish that financing is available and nothing more, because the rate and the term come from the finance provider rather than from us.

On review volume there is no contest at all. garagedoor-lv.com states "4.8 stars. 2,000+ Google reviews", read on September 19, 2026. That is their published claim about their Google profile, quoted as theirs rather than as a reading we took, and it is a great deal more feedback than our own Google profile carried when we checked it on the same day, at 5.0 from 4 reviews. Four is a small number and we are not going to dress it up.

And on the question of a national system, being part of one is not only a marketing fact. The national site states that Precision Garage Door Service has "more than 140 locally-owned franchises", and a network that size can mean shared parts supply, shared training and a warranty administered beyond one city. Those are real advantages and we do not have them.

What we publish, and what each line commits us to

Our side of the table with the conditions attached, since a list of claims with the conditions stripped off is an advertisement rather than a comparison.

• 35 years in the trade, on residential, commercial and RV doors, all makes and models, around the clock.
• Warranties on the work, with the terms for your job confirmed in writing before it starts.

Which of the two fits what you are comparing on

Both companies hold an active Nevada licence in the same classification, both publish their licence number where a customer can see it, and both have been working in this valley for a long time. That is the part where they are level, and it is worth saying before anything else.

After that it depends on what you are weighing. If you want a published coupon against a specific job such as a tune up or an opener brand, that is on their site. If you want a published flat price for a same-day spring replacement with the conditions attached, that is on ours. If you want a published warranty length, theirs is written down. If you want to know exactly what the visit costs before anybody starts, ours is $0 with a free inspection either way.

If what you care about is who you are actually dealing with, read both ownership statements in the table and decide for yourself. They publish that the franchise is independently owned and operated and locally owned since 2000, with a national system behind it. We are a single family owned company with no system behind it, which means there is nobody else to escalate to and also nobody else to hide behind.

And if you already hold a written quote from anybody, a second opinion here costs nothing, because the trip fee is $0 and the inspection is free whether you go ahead or not.

The published half takes five. Open garagedoor-lv.com, then the Las Vegas page on precisiondoor.net, then this site, and read the three against the job you actually need doing.
