Best garage door repair companies in Las Vegas. Ranked on what they publish.
Nine garage door companies held an active Nevada contractor licence and published a Las Vegas service area when we checked the public record on September 19, 2026. This roundup is published by Prestige Garage Door Services, which is one of the nine, so the whole method and every source sit on the page with it.

The short answer
Ranked by how much each company publishes about its own work on its own website, the garage door repair companies serving Las Vegas are A Plus Garage Doors, A1 Garage Door Service, Apple Garage Door Repair, Good Golly Garage Doors and Prestige Garage Door Services, which each met all six of this page's published checks, followed by Martin Garage Doors of Nevada and Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas at five checks, JB Garage Door Repair Las Vegas at four and Accurate Garage Door Services at three. All nine held an active Nevada contractor licence when the state register was searched on September 19, 2026.
Best on this page means one measurable thing, and it is stated here rather than left to the reader to guess: how much checkable information a company publishes about its own work before anybody calls it. That is the part of a buying decision you can settle on your own, at midnight, with a broken spring and no intention of ringing four companies.
Who publishes this page: Prestige Garage Door Services, a garage door company in Las Vegas, and one of the companies ranked on it. That belongs at the top rather than the bottom, because a roundup written by a company inside the roundup is only worth reading once you know it. The method below is the whole method, every source is named in the sentence that uses it, and we finish wherever the method puts us.
Prestige finished fifth of nine. Four companies published everything this page counts and so did we, and inside that group the order is alphabetical, because inventing a tie break that put us on top would be the whole problem with pages like this one.
Nobody paid to be on this page and no position on it was sold. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no referral arrangements with any company named here.
How this ranking was made
Two gates decide who is on the page. A company had to appear on the Nevada State Contractors Board public register with an active licence when we searched it by licence number and by wildcard company name on September 19, 2026, and it had to have a live website of its own naming Las Vegas in its published service area. Nine companies cleared both.
Then each company was scored on six checks. Every check is a positive: something the company publishes, on its own site, that a customer can read before making a call. Nothing is scored down for anything.
The order is the number of checks met, highest first. Companies level on checks are listed alphabetically by the trading name each one uses on its own website, because any other tie break would be us choosing, and this is exactly the page where we should not be choosing.
This ranks published information, not workmanship. We have not inspected another company's work and no amount of reading a website tells you how a repair went. What a ranking like this can honestly do is show you what each company has committed to in public, which is the part you can check before you call and hold anybody to afterwards.
A company further down this page published fewer of the things this page counts, on the pages we read on September 19, 2026, and that is the whole of what a lower position means. It is a statement about those pages on that day. Any company here may publish more elsewhere on its site, may publish more tomorrow, and may do better work than a company above it.
There are no star ratings and no review counts in this ranking for any company, ours included. We could not verify a rating for anybody from the platform that publishes it, and a rating copied onto our page ages into a claim about somebody else's business within days. Where a company publishes its own review claim on its own site, that is theirs to publish and their site is where to read it.
Every claim about another company on this page was taken from that company's own website or from the Nevada State Contractors Board public licence register, and checked on September 19, 2026.
This is an independent comparison. Prestige Garage Door Services is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this page. All company names, trademarks and logos are the property of their owners.
The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes that register as a courtesy and does not guarantee that it is complete or current, so every licence line here is what the register showed on September 19, 2026 rather than a statement about the business behind it.
The six checks, in full:
A service area published on its own site that names Las Vegas.
A list of the specific repairs it does, published on its own site, rather than a general promise of garage door work.
At least one offer published on its own site, of any kind.
A warranty or guarantee statement published on its own site.
A statement that financing is available, published on its own site.
A statement of when it is available: emergency service, around the clock hours, same-day service, or evenings and weekends.
The ranking, with the one fact each company publishes that stands out
Each line gives the position, the company as it writes its own name, its Nevada licence number from the register, and one published fact worth knowing, quoted from the company's own website and read on September 19, 2026.
We do not reprint another company's offer figures. An offer is theirs to change whenever they like, and a figure copied onto our page ages into a claim about their business that they never made. Where a company publishes an offer, this page says what the offer is for and names the site it is published on, so you can read the current figure and the current terms from them.
Nine companies, in the order the method returned:
1. A Plus Garage Doors, Nevada licence 0092240, six of six checks. Its coupons page carries six offers with their conditions attached, its site publishes a "Satisfaction Guarantee + Warranty" line and states "0% financing is available for qualified applicants", and it lists Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Boulder City, Centennial Hills, Enterprise, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor and Whitney among the places it works.
2. A1 Garage Door Service, Nevada licence 0093350, six of six checks. Its Las Vegas page states that MaxLife springs are "built to last up to 80,000 cycles, making them 16 times stronger than standard springs" and "Backed by a lifetime warranty", lists sixteen services from spring replacement to insulation and storage, describes emergency repair as 24/7, and mentions "flexible financing options" without publishing a rate or a term.
3. Apple Garage Door Repair, Nevada licence 0087430, six of six checks. Its site publishes a "90-day labor warranty" and a "1-year parts warranty", states it is "Veteran-owned" and has been "Serving Las Vegas since 2019", and lists commercial work, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors and loading dock equipment beside the residential repairs. It also states that senior and military discounts are available, which is its offer to publish and not ours.
4. Good Golly Garage Doors, Nevada licence 0092719, six of six checks. Its Las Vegas page publishes "NVCB License: 0092719", a heading reading "PERFORMANCE PROMISE" above the line "We stand behind the quality of our expert work. When you maintain and operate your garage door as recommended, we guarantee it will perform just as we promised-reliably and efficiently", and its financing page names Synchrony as the lender and prints both programmes with their terms.
5. Prestige Garage Door Services, Nevada licence 0091256, six of six checks. We publish two prices with their conditions attached: $499 for a qualifying same-day spring replacement and new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, both confirmed after a free inspection and before work begins. A $0 trip fee at any hour, warranties with the terms written down for your job, financing, all makes and models, around the clock, family owned, 35 years of experience in the trade.
6. Martin Garage Doors of Nevada, Nevada licences 0077056 and 0077057, five of six checks. Its specials page carries seven offers with their conditions attached and no expiry date printed on it, and publishes financing under the heading "Free Financing", stating there is no interest if the balance is paid in full in 6 months on approved credit. Its site publishes "Emergency Repairs" as a service and states "Available 24 Hours A Day", and its home page states it has been "Providing exceptional garage door services to Nevada & Arizona Since 1936".
7. Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas, Nevada licence 0052604, five of six checks. Its site publishes "NV License #0052604", four coupons with their fine print, "Full manufacturer warranty on every installation", a financing section stating 0% interest with a monthly payment example, and a service area covering thirteen valley communities. Precision publishes two things about itself that belong together: the national site states that "Each Precision Garage Door Service franchise is an independently owned and operated small business", and its own Las Vegas site states "Locally Owned Since 2000. Nationally Backed."
8. JB Garage Door Repair Las Vegas, Nevada licence 0090811, four of six checks. Its home page publishes "Licensed #0090811", a "Same-day service guarantee", "No additional charge for evening & weekend", a service list running from torsion springs to keyless entry, and the statement that the business "is a completely insured and family owned business".
9. Accurate Garage Door Services, Nevada licence 0064067, three of six checks. Its site publishes "License #0064067", 24 hour emergency service, a service area covering eleven valley communities, and the statement that "Accurate Garage is a family owned and operated business" that "has been servicing the Las Vegas area for over 15 years".
The nine companies side by side
The licence column is the public record rather than anybody's marketing, and it is the one column on this page you can verify yourself in about a minute at app.nvcontractorsboard.com.
There is no licence classification column on this page, which is deliberate. The classifications held by the companies here are not all the same, and a class code printed beside a company name invites a conclusion the code on its own does not support. The register shows every classification in full, and the licence numbers below are exactly what you need to look any of them up in about a minute.

What this page does not measure, and you should know before you use it
It does not measure whether the spring they fit lasts, whether the technician who arrives has done a thousand of these or four, whether the price on the phone is the price in the driveway, or whether anyone rings you back. Those are the things that actually decide whether a repair went well, and none of them can be read off a website by us or by anybody else.
It does not measure how many reviews a company has or what they say. Every Google rating in our research was unverified from the platform itself, so no rating for any company appears anywhere on this page.
It does not measure size, fleet, years, or how many markets a company operates in. Some of the companies here work in several states and some work in one valley, and this page takes no position on which is better for your door.
And it measures one day. September 19, 2026 is printed on this page because a roundup without a date is a claim with no expiry on somebody else's business.
This page is a dated statement about other companies' websites, so it is re-checked every 90 days and the visible date is updated the same day, and immediately out of cycle if anyone reports a discrepancy or a source page stops loading. A claim that has gone from a company's site is removed rather than kept with an "as of" note, and a licence that stops being active takes that company off the page.
Where Prestige finished, and why
Fifth of nine, level on checks with the four companies above us and listed after them because the tie break is alphabetical.
What we publish, which is what earned the six: Nevada contractor licence 0091256, bonded and insured, family owned and run from one location with 35 years of experience in the trade. Residential, commercial and RV doors across the Las Vegas Valley, all makes and models, around the clock. A $0 trip fee at any hour and a free inspection of the whole door, whether you go ahead or not. Two prices with their conditions attached, $499 for a qualifying same-day spring replacement and new doors from $1,400 installed on qualifying standard sizes, both confirmed after the inspection and before work begins. Warranties on the work with the terms written down for your job. Financing.
What we do not have, stated plainly because a roundup that only lists its publisher's strengths is an advertisement with a table in it. We publish no warranty length, and A1 publishes a spring warranty far more specific than ours. We publish no financing rate or term, and Good Golly publishes both with the lender named. Our Google profile showed 5.0 from 4 reviews when we checked it on September 19, 2026, and several companies on this page publish review claims in the thousands. Four is a small number. It is the number, and we are not going to dress it up.
If the published record above makes another company on this page the better call for your job, make it. Every licence number here is real and every quote is from the company's own site.
Four questions that sort any shortlist in Las Vegas
A list of nine is not progress on its own. Four questions turn it into two phone calls, and they work on us as well as on anybody else here.
First, what does the visit cost if I say no. That single answer decides whether you can afford a second opinion, which is the thing that protects you most.
Second, will I get a written, itemised price before anything is touched, showing which parts, how many, one spring or two, what cycle rating, and labour stated separately from parts.
Third, have you fitted my kind of door before. An RV door, a rolling steel curtain and a commercial operator are different machines from a house door, and a residential price list does not cover a fourteen foot opening.
Fourth, what are the warranty terms for my job, in writing. Not the headline on the website. The terms on the paperwork you are handed.
Homes, businesses and RV garages
What this covers in Las Vegas
For homes
Choosing a garage door repair company for a Las Vegas home
For an ordinary Las Vegas house door, a sectional steel door on torsion springs, every company on this page publishes the same core work: springs, cables, rollers, openers and doors off their tracks. The choice is rarely about capability and almost always about what is written on the quote.
Get two written quotes on the same door and compare them part by part rather than total by total. A qualifying same-day spring replacement with us is $499, confirmed after a free inspection of the whole door, and the trip costs $0 whether you go ahead or not.
Springs, cables, rollers, openers and off track doors on Las Vegas homes.
The whole door inspected, including the parts that have not failed yet.
A written price before any work starts, and nothing owed if you decide against it.
Choosing a commercial garage door company in Las Vegas
Commercial work narrows a list like this one quickly, because a rolling steel curtain, a dock door and a high cycle operator are not what every garage door company in Las Vegas handles day to day. Of the companies on this page, some publish commercial work on their own sites and some publish residential work only, so the published service list is the first thing to read.
Then ask the direct question before anything else: is commercial work routine for you, what cycle rating are you quoting, and what does after hours mean on my account. Prestige holds Nevada contractor licence 0091256, works around the clock across the Las Vegas Valley, and quotes commercial doors per door after an inspection rather than off a residential figure.
Roll up, sectional and dock doors, plus the operators that drive them.
Cycle rating priced into the quote rather than discovered later.
Emergency attendance at any hour, because a closed bay in Las Vegas is a closed business.
An RV door narrows a Las Vegas shortlist faster than anything else on this page. It is taller panels, heavier springs, higher tracks and an opener a household trolley unit cannot lift, and not every company on this list fits them.
Ask whoever you call whether they have fitted a door that size before, and whether the springs will be specified to your door's real weight rather than to what is on the truck. We measure first and quote after, with a $0 trip fee and a free inspection while we are there.
Tall door springs specified to the weight of your door.
Jackshaft and commercial operators for doors a trolley opener cannot lift.
New RV doors measured on site in Las Vegas, because a fourteen foot opening is not a catalogue size.
Who are the best garage door repair companies in Las Vegas?
Ranked by how much each company publishes about its own work on its own website, they are A Plus Garage Doors, A1 Garage Door Service, Apple Garage Door Repair, Good Golly Garage Doors and Prestige Garage Door Services, which each met all six of this page's published checks, then Martin Garage Doors of Nevada and Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas at five, JB Garage Door Repair Las Vegas at four and Accurate Garage Door Services at three. All nine held an active Nevada contractor licence when the state register was searched on September 19, 2026. The ranking measures published information, not workmanship.
Who publishes this roundup?
Prestige Garage Door Services, a garage door company in Las Vegas and one of the nine companies ranked on this page. We publish that at the top rather than the bottom. The method is stated in full, every fact is sourced to a company's own website or to the Nevada State Contractors Board register with the date it was read, and Prestige finished fifth of nine under that method rather than first.
How were these companies ranked?
By six checks, each one a positive: a published Las Vegas service area, a published list of the specific repairs the company does, at least one published offer, a published warranty or guarantee statement, a published statement that financing is available, and a published statement of when the company is available. The order is the number of checks met, highest first, with companies on the same number listed alphabetically by the trading name on their own site.
Why are there no star ratings or review counts on this page?
Because we could not verify a rating for any company from the platform that publishes it, and a rating copied onto our page ages into a claim about somebody else's business within days. Several companies here publish their own review claims on their own sites, which is theirs to do and their site is where to read it. Our own Google profile showed 5.0 from 4 reviews when we checked it on September 19, 2026, which is a small number and we are not going to dress it up.
Does a lower position on this list mean a company is worse?
No. A lower position means that company published fewer of the six things this page counts, on the pages we read on September 19, 2026. It is a statement about those pages on that day. Any company here may publish more elsewhere on its site, may publish more tomorrow, and may do better work than a company above it. Workmanship is not measured on this page and cannot be measured from a website.
How do I check a garage door company's licence in Nevada myself?
The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes a free search at app.nvcontractorsboard.com. You can search by licence number or by company name, and it returns the legal entity, any trading name, the classification and the status. Every licence number in the table on this page came from that search on September 19, 2026, and the board states that its register is provided as a courtesy and may not reflect recent changes.
People also ask
How many garage door companies are licensed in Las Vegas?
More than are listed here. This page covers the companies in our research set that held an active licence and published a Las Vegas service area, not the whole register. The Nevada State Contractors Board search at app.nvcontractorsboard.com lets you search by classification and by city, which will return the full field of licensed contractors far better than any list on a company website.
What should I look for in a garage door repair company?
An active state licence you can check yourself, a published service area that includes your address, a written itemised price before anything is touched, a clear answer on what the visit costs if you decline the work, and warranty terms in writing for your job rather than a headline on a website. Those five checks do not depend on the size of the company and they are the same five we would want asked of us.
Is a bigger garage door company better than a local one?
Neither is better as a category. Scale buys inventory, more trucks and a staffed dispatch desk at three in the morning. A single location company answers its own phone and the person who quotes the job is often the person who does it. There are careful operators and careless ones in both, which is why the checks above are about what a company will commit to in public rather than how many vans it owns.
How much does garage door repair cost in Las Vegas?
It depends on which part failed, how many of them, and the size and weight of the door. A qualifying same-day spring replacement with us is $499, confirmed after a free inspection and before any work begins. What moves a number is the part count, the cycle rating of the spring, whether one spring or two are being replaced, and whether the door is a standard residential size or an RV or commercial opening.
Can I get a second opinion on a garage door quote in Las Vegas?
Yes, and with us it costs nothing: the trip fee is $0 and the inspection is free whether or not you go ahead. If you are holding a written quote from any company, a technician can look at the same door and give you our written price before anything is touched. What we will not do is promise to beat a number we have not seen.
