Here is a test you can run yourself in the next minute, for free, without us. Lay a two by four flat on the garage floor under the middle of the opening, then close the door. Federal rule 16 CFR 1211.7 gives the opener two seconds from the moment the door touches that board to start going back up. Not pause. Not stop. Reverse. CPSC publishes the same test in its own garage door safety sheet, and if your door fails it, you have learned something worth knowing before you spend a dollar with anybody.
What the free inspection looks at, with no trip fee and nothing owed:
- The two second reverse, with a board on the floor, the way CPSC documents it
- The second, independent safety system openers have needed since 1993, and whether yours is still connected and aimed
- That the opener checks that safety device every single time the door closes, which 16 CFR 1211.8 requires it to do

- Track, rollers, cables, hinges and the panels they are all bolted to

Is it really $1,999?
Yes, for qualifying standard sizes and configurations. The free inspection confirms which options fit your opening, and you hear the price before any work begins. Color, material, insulation and hardware all move the number, so the quote is written down rather than guessed at.
Why do I see $4,500 quoted elsewhere?
Because that is what a replacement commonly runs in the valley once a premium door, added insulation and upgraded hardware are in the quote. $4,500 is a typical market cost and not a Prestige price. Our starting point is for qualifying standard doors, and the inspection tells you which bracket your opening actually falls into.
How soon can it be installed?
Many in-stock sizes and colors can be scheduled in as little as 1 to 2 days. A special order, an unusual opening or a color that is not stocked takes longer, and we tell you which one yours is when we quote.
What is included in the price?
The quote lists exactly what is covered before you commit, so there is nothing to discover on the day. If your opening needs anything beyond the standard package, it is priced and agreed with you first.
